    Job Description

    AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for a Digital Signage Technical Lead. This position is part of the Navy Enterprise Help Desk which provides IT support Navy-wide.  It is located at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland.

    • - The Digital Signage Technical Lead is responsible for the oversight of the design, implementation, and administration of the Digital Signage system.
    • - The position reports to the Project Manager as well as the Government leadership as required.
    • - Formal Administrator Training and certification on the government-provided system is required within six months of hire.
    • - The successful candidate will be able to install, upgrade configure, tune maintain, administer and monitor backups on the digital signage system, troubleshoot problems, monitor system performance, develop scripts to automate system processes, apply best practices to achieve optimal system performance, support user needs, and provide guidance to the Government on new requirements, information security issues, and industry best practices.

    Job Requirements

    • - Minimum high school diploma and advanced technical training.
    • - Three (3) years experience in managing a digital signage implementation, ideally in a DoD environment.
    • - Good written and oral communication skills.
    • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and current Microsoft Server applications.
    • - Security + and an Operating System Certification (Windows, UNIX, Linux) is preferred.

    Position: Sales Engineer - Pro-AV/Digital Signage

    Job Requirements

    • - Proactively work with D&H sales, buying and marketing teams to promote, drive and track vendor specific sales promotions and reseller programs.
    • - Provide Training to D&H Sales team and deliver training content via live workshops, virtual webinars and teleconferences
    • - Data-mining for the purpose of targeting net new resellers and broadening product depth.
    • - Manage customer lead development; provide support necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure with sales team
    • - Coordinate Best practices with D&H Specialist teams.
    • - Provide follow up on sales team management from manufacturer delivered training
    • - Deliver weekly scorecard metrics to manufacturers for performance evaluation to reach manufacturers goals and targets.
    • - Work with the D&H buying team to suggest products and categories that help manufacturer specific goals and targets.
    • - Work with the Pro-AV/DS inside Marketing team to help determine what products to promote and helps set marketing plans
    • - Message & drive attendance to the Pro-AV/DS and associated vendors shows and events
    • - Proactively communicate and work with our inside sales teams to drive and promote vendor promotions and programs

    Job Requirements
    • - BS preferred
    • - Proven track record of at least 5 years in a pre-sales technical role for Pro-AV/Digital Signage
    • - Digital certifications such as CTS, CTS-i, CTS-D, DSCE, DCME, etc.
    • - Knowledge of sales cycle, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven negotiation techniques
    • - Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience and presentation skills.
    • - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities.
    • - Ability to travel 10+%

    Position: Audio Visual/Digital Signage Inside Sales Professional

    The opportunity: With a primary focus of growing Digital Signage and Professional Audio Visual (Pro-AV/DS) vendor sales, the Professional Audio Visual Sales Specialist serves as an extension of the technology category and is responsible for educating and enabling the sale of new and different technical products, programs, and services. Maintaining sound knowledge of diverse industry trends and technologies, the Pro-AV/DS Sales Specialist is responsible for leveraging their expertise, along with the experience of other D&H experts, to build, position, and sell new and advanced Pro-AV/DS solutions, programs, and services. This position will assume a leadership role on the team to train and mentor Sales Specialists, Inside Sales Reps and Field Sales. They will also be expected to participate in sales calls with D&H sales teams to successfully sell and promote Pro-AV/DS products and services

    This position will communicate with D&H staff to ensure that internal support team members understand, and are able to properly support sales opportunities. Maintains consistent communication with all regarding key initiatives pertaining to Pro-AV/DS to further grow profitable business. This will include providing specialized consultation, education, training, and sales resources to external partners and peers to enable vendor and reseller success and acts as an extension of the organization to drive programs and vendor initiatives to channel partners.
    Will also be responsible for creating and communicating tactical and strategic initiatives and forecasts aligned with the direction of the organization and vendor objectives.

    Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or up to 5 years of inside sales experience. Looking for someone with digital certifications such as CTS, CTS-i, CTS-D, DSCE, DCME, etc. Must have strong knowledge of sales cycle and excellent communication skills.
